Tufts Volleyball Participating in NESCAC's Dig Pink Rally For Breast Cancer Support

MEDFORD - The Tufts volleyball team is taking part in The Side-Out Foundation's Dig Pink® campaign to fight breast cancer at this weekend's matches at Bates and at Bowdoin (Oct. 11-12).

Dig Pink® is the name of the Side-Out Foundation's national October breast cancer rally. All proceeds benefit the Side-Out Foundation, which in turn awards grants to medical research organizations and entities dedicated to providing patient services to breast cancer patients and their families.

The cause is being promoted at all NESCAC volleyball matches this weekend. Tufts plays at Bates on Friday at 8 pm and at Bowdoin on Saturday at 2 pm. The players, coaches, parents, volunteers, spectators and survivors can look forward to a special evening. Your participation gives the volleyball community the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of all breast cancer patients. If you are able to attend, please wear something pink!

The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing compassionate support services and educating communities.
