2017-2018 (Junior): Karamercan appeared in 24 contests between the fall and spring seasons for the Jumbos...she was nationally ranked #12 in singles and #4 in doubles during the season...the junior won 22 matches for the brown and blue including victories over the #6 player nationally for Amherst 6-4, 6-2, Bowdoin 4-6, 7-6 (8), 6-2 in number two play, and a 6-1, 6-4 win in the NCAA Individual Championships...Karamercan also posted 16 doubles victories including wins in number one doubles against MIT 8-4, Hamilton 8-3, and an 8-2 win against Rhode Island College in the second round of the NCAA Individual Championships...she was named to First Team All-NESCAC team for her efforts in singles and doubles on the season.
2016-2017 (Sophomore): Appeared in 23 matchups for Tufts...Karamercan began the season #12 in the national rankings in singles and upheld her ranking the enitre season...she won 18 singles matches for the Jumbos including number one play wins over Brandeis 6-0, 6-4, the #8 player nationally of Emory 6-4, 6-2, and a 6-0, 6-1 victory against Trinity...the sophomore also recorded 10 doubles wins including victories against Colby 8-2, Wesleyan 8-6, and Amherst 8-6 in the NESCAC Championship First Round...Karamercan was named to First Team All-NESCAC in singles and Second Team All-NESCAC.
2015-2016 (Freshman): Karamercan won her first career collegiate match 6-0, 6-0 against Wellesley...the freshman appeared in 24 contests for the Jumbos...she won 20 singles matches which included wins over Babson 6-0, 6-2, Middlebury 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, a 6-3, 6-2 win over Williams, and in the NESCAC Championship First Round a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Amherst...Karamercan tallied 17 wins in doubles matches including victories against Colby-Sawyer 8-0 in the NCAA Division III Second Round and a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Washington and Lee in the NCAA Doubles Event which helped her earn All-American Honors...she finished as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and was First Team All-NESCAC in singles and doubles.
Before Tufts: Was on the tennis team at Enka Schools...was on the U14 Turkish National Team...was ITF ranked...was a honors student for seven semesters...was a high honors student her last semester.
Personal: Daughter of Burcin and Erdal...has two siblings, Rana (35) and Berna (39).
