GLOUCESTER, Maine – Tufts Men's Cross Country opened their season by winning the Pineland Super XC Shootout with a score of 124 in the 8,000-meter race.
|Senior Dylan Jones finished first overall in the Pineland XC Shootout|

Fellow freshman Joseph Harmon (27:30.01) and sophomore Peter Horvath (27:34.4) rounded out the top 20 finishing 19th and 20th respectively.

The seniors have set the tone early and this was a solid start to the season for the men's cross country team. They will be in action again next Saturday as they travel to Williamstown, Mass. for the annual Purple Valley Classic.
