2018 (Sophomore): Nero ran in the All-New England Championship where he finished 26th overall with a 27:01.34...he also competed in the Connecticut College Invitational and placed 84th overall...the sophomore competed in his first career NESCAC Championship and finished 53rd.

2017 (Freshman): Despite it being just his first collegiate year Nero ran in six different races... he managed to finish 45th in the NESCAC Championship.... finished 76th in the Division III New England Regional Championship.

Before Tufts: Was on the cross country, track and lacrosse teams at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School...was a Dual County League Cross Country Champion in the outdoor track 2-mile school record holder with a 9:31.50 which he ran in 2014...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Julie and Nick...has two siblings, Annie (26) and Meg (24)...father played lacrosse at Harvard...mother rowed at Harvard...Annie and Meg both played lacrosse at Tufts.
