2017-2018 (Sophomore): He appeared in 10 matches for the Jumbos...Shaff begun the season with two doubles victories in the MIT Invitational...he recorded three singles victories including wins in number three singles 6-3, 6-1 against Vassar and a 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 number two win...the sophomore recorded eight doubles wins which included victories over RPI 8-6 and Colby 8-5 in number two doubles...against Vassar, Hamilton, and Skidmore he won in both singles and doubles for Tufts.
2016-2017 (Freshman): Shaff took part in 14 matches for Tufts...he opened his collegiate career with two victories at the ITA Regional...the freshman won six singles matches including wins against Wisconsin Whitewater 6-3, 6-1 and Bowdoin 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 in number four singles...Shaff was also a winner of eight doubles matches including victories over Amherst 8-6 and 8-4 against Brandeis in number two doubles... he was a winner of both singles and doubles in contests against Point Loma, Wisconsin Whitewater, Pomona-Pitzer, Williams, and Bowdoin.
Before Tufts: Was on the tennis team at Moravian Academy Upper School...was a two-time district champion in boys singles...was a PIAA state doubles and team champion...was a two-time fourth place finisher in the PIAA state singles tournament...was selected as the Moravian Academy Athlete of the Year for the 2015-16 school year...was named the Disctrict XI Male Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2015-16.
