2017-2018 (Sophomore): Appeared consistently in number three doubles for the Jumbos...Bershtein went 8-4 in number three doubles matches including wins over MIT 8-5, Middlebury 8-6, and Connecticut College 8-0...in number two doubles, he went 2-1 with wins over Whittier 8-5 and Babson 8-4...his lone number five singles match resulted in a 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (11-9) victory over Babson.
2016-2017 (Freshman): Appeared in one number four singles match 6-1, 6-1 against the College of the Desert...Bershtein also competed in two number three doubles matches which resulted in two wins over Hamilton 8-0 and Coast Guard 8-3.
Before Tufts: Was on the tennis team at Amity High School...was an All-Conference and All-Area selection for tennis his junior and senior year...was on the team that won the state championship his junior year...recipient of the Thomas Lauseni Memorial Athletic Scholarship for excellence in academics and athletics...achieved first honors all semesters...honored with the Principal's Award of Excellense for finishing in the top 10% of his class.
