  • Men's Squash Closes Out Play in CSA Team Championships With Loss To Stanford

    The Tufts men’s squash team closed out play in the College Squash Association’s team championships on Sunday afternoon with a 5-4 loss to Stanford. The Jumbos opened up play in the tournament with a 6-3 win over MIT before falling 6-3 to Hamilton in consolation play.

    The Tufts men’s squash team fell in semifinal play of the Conroy Cup of the College Squash Association’s Team Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Jumbos faced off with Hamilton for the third time this year, but were not able to defeat the Continentals, falling 6-3.
  • Men's Squash Opens Play in CSA Team Championships With Win Over MIT

    The Tufts men’s squash team opened up play in the College Squash Association’s (CSA) Team Championships with a 6-3 win over MIT on Friday. The Jumbos are playing in the D division for the Conroy cup and will now take on Hamilton on Saturday afternoon in a semifinal match.

    It’s tournament time! The men’s swimming and diving team will compete in the NESCAC Championships this Friday through Sunday. Men’s and women’s basketball host quarterfinal games of the NESCAC Tournament on Saturday at Cousens Gym. Men’s and women’s indoor track and field will compete in the New England Division III Championships this weekend. The men’s squash team will play in the College Squash Association’s Team Championships Friday through Sunday. Women’s fencing travels to Vassar for the Northeast Fencing Conference Championships on Saturday.
  • Men's Squash Concludes Play in NESCAC Championships with Consolation Loss to Hamilton

    In their last consolation match of the NESCAC Championships the men’s squash team fell to Hamilton, 9-0. The match closed out play in the tournament for the Jumbos. They opened up with a 9-0 loss to Wesleyan and then fell to Connecticut College, 8-1, in their first consolation match.
  • Men's Squash Falls to Wesleyan in First Round of NESCAC Championships

    The eleventh seeded Tufts men’s squash team took on sixth seeded Wesleyan in the first round of the 2015 NESCAC Championships on Friday afternoon, but the Cardinals topped the Jumbos, 9-0, to move on to the quarterfinal round of play on Saturday.
  • Men's Squash Falls to Connecticut College in Consolation Match of NESCAC Championships

    The men’s squash team played their first consolation match of the NESCAC Tournament on Friday evening, falling to Connecticut College, 8-1. The Jumbos opened up tournament play with a first round loss to Wesleyan.

    The men’s and women’s squash teams will hit the road on Friday and travel over to Williamstown to compete in the NESCAC Championships. Play opens on Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday for both the men and the women.

    The Tufts men’s squash team completed a busy weekend of NESCAC play on Sunday, traveling to Connecticut College to take on the Camels in NESCAC action Sunday afternoon. The Camels were able to top the Jumbos 9-0.
  • Advani Wins in First Position But Jumbos Fall to Colby on Saturday Afternoon

    The Tufts men’s squash team traveled over to Harvard to take on NESCAC rival Colby on Saturday afternoon, but the White Mules were too much for the Jumbos as the match ended 8-1 in Colby’s favor. Junior tri-captain Aditya Advani was the lone Jumbo to win.

    After a whole lot of snow, many Jumbos teams are ready to get back in action. Hockey returns to their home ice for the first time this semester. Men’s basketball will host two NESCAC opponents this weekend, while women’s basketball hits the road to take on Connecticut College and Wesleyan.

  • Second Ranked St. Lawrence Top Jumbos in Saturday Afternoon Squash Action

    The Tufts men’s squash team took on #2 St. Lawrence on Saturday, but the Saints proved to be too much for the Jumbos, as St. Lawrence topped Tufts, 9-0. The Jumbos took on Western Ontario earlier in the day.
  • Men's Squash Falls to Western Ontario in Saturday Morning Squash Action

    The Tufts men’s squash team had a tough Saturday of competition, taking on #18 Western Ontario and falling to the Mustangs, 9-0. The Jumbos followed that match by taking on #2 St. Lawrence, but weren’t able to top the Saints either.

    With the students back on campus and all the winter teams back in action it is truly the second semester for Tufts Athletics. Men’s hockey takes on Wesleyan and Trinity this weekend on the road. Men’s and women’s basketball have weekday contests before continuing their NESCAC schedules with Bates this weekend.
  • Win Over Boston College for Men's Squash in Return to Home Courts

    Returning to their home courts for the first time this semester, the Tufts men’s squash team topped visiting Boston College, 8-1, on Tuesday night at the Belmont Hill School. The Jumbos picked up wins in the first through eighth positions to earn the win.
  • Second Win of Weekend For Men's Squash Comes Over Brandeis Saturday

    The men’s squash team closed out a busy weekend with a win over Brandeis on Saturday afternoon. The Jumbos won in the first through eighth positions to blank the Judges for their second win of the weekend. The first was a 9-0 win over Haverford on Friday night.

    The #32 Tufts men’s squash team got back in the win column on Friday night, blanking visiting #42 Haverford, 9-0, at the Belmont Hill School. Seven of the Jumbos wins came in just three games.
  • Men's Squash Opens Second Semester Schedule With Loss to Bates

    The Tufts men’s squash team opened up their second semester schedule on Tuesday night, but were bested by the #14 ranked Bobcats of Bates, 9-0. The match is the first of a busy week for the team, which includes matches against Haverford and Brandeis.

    The time is finally here. All winter sports teams are in action this week. Women’s basketball will look to keep their winning streak against Amherst alive on Friday, and then take on Trinity on Saturday. Men’s basketball and men’s hockey are both on the road continuing the NESCAC portions of their schedules. Men’s and women’s swimming and diving will host MIT and Wesleyan this weekend. Men’s and women’s indoor track and field will compete in the Tufts Invitational I on Saturday. Both the men’s and women’s squash teams resume their 2014-15 campaigns this week, and the women’s fencing team will be back in action this week as well.

    The 23rd-ranked Colby College men's squash won eight matches by 3-0 scores in taking a 9-0 win over 32nd-ranked Tufts University at the Dunaway Courts on Saturday.
  • Jumbos Pick Up Win Over Vassar In Friday Night Men's Squash Action

    The Tufts men’s squash team opened up their weekend with a win over Vassar on Friday night, defeating the hosts 8-1. The Jumbos won in the first through eighth positions, with the only Brewer win coming by default in the ninth position.
  • This Week In Tufts University Athletics - December 2 - 9

    After a relatively quiet week and a small break for Thanksgiving, almost all the winter teams will be back in action this week, and men’s soccer will play in the “Final Four” of the NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament on Friday against Ohio Wesleyan in Kansas City, Mo. Men’s basketball will have a busy week of games, hosting WPI on Wednesday and playing in the New England Big Four Challenge with Brandeis, Salem State and host Babson on Saturday and Sunday. After a week with three games on their plate, women’s basketball has a single game with Fitchburg State on Saturday. Men’s hockey returns home this weekend to host Colby and Bowdoin at the Valley Forum.
  • Loss to Middlebury Closes Out Busy Week for Men's Squash

    The men’s squash team took on NESCAC rival and #19 Middlebury on Sunday to close out a busy week, but the Jumbos weren’t able to top the Panthers, falling 9-0. The men started the week with a win over MIT and then fell to Connecticut College and Hamilton before they took on the Panthers.
  • Three Jumbos Win But It Isn't Enough as Men's Squash Falls to Hamilton

    For the second time in less than 24 hours the men’s squash team took the courts and received wins from junior tri-captain Aditya Advani, senior and fellow tri-captain Zachary Schweitzer and freshman Braden Chiulli, but it wasn’t enough as the Jumbos fell to Hamilton, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon.
  • Despite Four Wins Men's Squash Falls to Connecticut College in Home Opener

    Jumbos in the first through fourth positions were able to beat their Connecticut College opponents in the men’s squash match on Friday night at the Belmont Hill School. But, it wasn’t enough as the Camels won in the fifth through ninth positions, to take the 5-4 win. Two of those five matches the Jumbos didn’t win went to five matches but just didn’t fall in the Jumbos favor.
  • Men's Squash Notches First Win of Season with 6-3 Win Over MIT on Tuesday

    The men’s squash team picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday night, traveling over to MIT and downing the Engineers 6-3. First-years Braden Chiulli and Sandeep Rishi both picked up their first collegiate wins in the match.

    The men’s squash team opened up their 2014-15 season this weekend by taking on NESCAC rival Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. The Jumbos were not able to top the Cardinals, falling 9-0.
  • Men's Squash Depends on Veteran Core Plus Talented Newcomers for Successful Winter

    The men’s squash team returns a core of veterans, including their top three from last season, and will look to the addition a few new faces to combine with that veteran leadership to help the Jumbos win some NESCAC matches and compete in the highest division possible at the College Squash Association’s (CSA) Team Championships this winter.
