Tom Palleschi was an All-NESCAC 1st Teamer

MEDFORD - Men's basketball's achievements from the 2016 season made the list of the top 10 highlights from the spring semester in Jumbo Sports at #6.

School spirit was alive and well during NCAA "March Madness" at Cousens Gym. The Jumbos earned an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time since 2006 and hosted NCAA Regional and Sectional games in front of huge crowds at Cousens. Head coach Bob Sheldon's team advanced to the national quarterfinals with home wins over Southern Vermont, Skidmore, and Johnson & Wales. Tufts finished with a 23-7 record that was the most wins by the team since 2006. Sheldon was named D3hoops Northeast Coach of the Year.

We are counting down the top 10 spring semester highlights one per day during the week until releasing #1 on Monday, June 27.

Last December, we announced the top 10 achievements of the fall semester.
