Title: Assistant Coach

Franz enters her first season as an assistant coach on the women's track and field team. 

Before joining the Jumbo coaching staff, she attended Conencticut College where she was a four-year member of the Camel's track and field and cross country teams and was a captain her senior year. There, Franz was an NCAA DIII National Championship finalist in the 1500m and seven-time national qualifier. She was named to the All-New England team in Cross Country, the mile, 1500m, 800m, 4x800m, 4x400m, and the Distance Medley Relay. At the time of her graduation, she was the school record-holder in the Indoor 800m, Outdoor 800m, 1500m, the Mile, the Distance Medley Relay, and the 4x400m relay.

Franz graduated from Connecticut College in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Economics and Architectural Studies. During her time there she worked as an Equipment Room and Desk Monitor in their athletic department. She was also an intern at HAWI Management, which is a sports management company specializing in managing professional athletes. Franz attended South Hampton High School and graduated in 2013.
