    Finishing a busy four days at the 2017 Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Women's Championship on Friday, the Tufts University Jumbos placed 14th out of 18 teams in the national final.

    The Tufts University women's sailing team finished sixth out of 18 teams at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association National Championship Eastern Semi-final on Wednesday, earning a berth into the national championship which starts on Thursday.

    The 2017 spring sports teams at Tufts University placed 133 athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Teams released today. That's more than any of the other 10 schools in the conference.
  • Women's Sailing Qualifies for National Semi-finals With 8th Place at New England Champs

    With an eighth-place finish at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) Championship / Reed Trophy on Saturday and Sunday, the Tufts University women's sailing team was one of 10 teams in the region to qualify for the Intercollegiate Sailing Association National Semifinals coming up May 23-24 at the College of Charleston.

    With spring sports in the middle of their seasons, it’s another full week in Tufts Athletics. Men’s lacrosse has a critical matchup with Bates on Bello on Tuesday night, baseball hosts UMass-Dartmouth for two on Monday and then Bowdoin for a three game series this weekend and women’s lacrosse will host Wesleyan in a vital NESCAC game on Saturday.

    Led by a third-place finish in A division, the Tufts University women's sailing team scored ninth overall out of 18 teams at the annual St. Mary's Interconference Regatta.

    It’s a huge NESCAC week for Tufts Athletics. Men’s and women’s cross country will run at the NESCAC Championships this weekend. Men’s soccer, women’s soccer and field hockey all face off with Bowdoin to wrap up their regular season schedules and then begin NESCAC Tournament play on Saturday. Football travels to Amherst on Saturday and volleyball will host Connecticut College on Saturday.

    The 16th-ranked Tufts University women's sailing team had a strong sixth-place showing out of 17 teams at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl hosted by Dartmouth on Saturday and Sunday.

    It will be another busy week on campus with many teams at home and Parent and Family Weekend this coming weekend. Football hosts Williams, as do women’s soccer, men’s soccer and field hockey. Both field hockey and men’s soccer have midweek tune-ups before their weekend match ups.

    The Tufts women's sailing team went out of region over the weekend to compete at the 1st Annual Susan Rogers '75 Memorial Regatta held Saturday and Sunday at Cornell University out of the Merrill Family Sailing Center. The Jumbos placed fourth out of 14 teams.

    It's Homecoming week and it’s a busy one for the Jumbos. Men’s soccer, women’s soccer and field hockey all have three home games on the schedule this week. Football is at home on Saturday hosting Bates. Men’s and women’s cross country travel to compete in the prestigious Paul Short Run.

    Last week was a big week for Tufts Athletics but this week is even bigger as football joins the mix, opening up their season on Saturday night under the lights when they host Wesleyan. Joining them at home on Saturday are women’s soccer, field hockey and volleyball.

    The Tufts University women's sailing team earned seventh place out of 18 teams at the annual Stu Nelson Trophy hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday and Sunday.

    Last week was an exciting week as many sports teams began their seasons. But, this week is even more exciting as even more Tufts teams will be in action including an action packed Saturday at home. Men’s soccer will play their home opener on Saturday, and women’s soccer, volleyball and field hockey will all be at home Saturday as well after midweek contests for all of those teams. Men’s and women’s cross country open their 2016 campaign on the road at the Bates Invitational this weekend. Golf will head to Middlebury for the Duke Nelson Invite. Both the coed sailing and women’s sailing teams hit the water again this weekend.
