2016 (Sophomore): Placed in the top 30 twice during his sophmore season and he raced in three races for the Jumbos during his sophomore campaign...finished 28th at the Bates Invitational on September 17th and then25th at the James Early Invitational on October 8th...also raced in the prestigious Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh on October 1st.

2015 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut at the Bates Invitational on September and finished in 43rd place....also ran in the Purple Valley Classic on September 26th and the All-New England Championship at Franklin Park on October 10th.

Before Tufts: Ran cross country and track at Leland High School...was the 2015 track Co-MVP...chosen as the 2014 Cross Country Most Inspirational...was a two-time Gabe Maze Award winner....finished in sixth place in the BVAL Chocolate Milk Miler...was president of the Leland French Club.

Personal: Son of Murray Buckman and Vicky Lau...has one sibling, Ian (21)...mother, Vickie, ran marathons.
