Eight Jumbos Receive NESCAC All-Conference Honors in Men's Track & Field
Led by three-year All-Conference honorees Gbola Ajayi (Lagos, Nigeria), Michael Blair (Wellesley, MA) and Brad Nakanishi (Scarborough, ME), the Tufts University men's track & field team has eight members on the 2012 NESCAC All-Conference team announced today. The top three finishers in each event earn the recognition.

Academic All-NESCAC Selections for 2011-12 Winter Sports Include 91 Jumbo Student-Athletes
Ninety-one winter sport athletes at Tufts were awarded Academic All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) honors on Wednesday. Recipients have achieved at least sophomore academic standing with a grade point average of 3.35 or better and are letter-winners on their teams.

Seven Jumbos will compete in five events at the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Track & Field Championships to be held at Grinnelll College in Iowa this weekend (Mar. 9-10). The Tufts team will consist of junior Gbola Ajayi (Lagos, Nigeria), sophomore Graham Beutler (Weston, CT), junior Jeff Marvel (Naples, FL), sophomore Bobby McShane (Mansfield, MA), junior Matt Rand (Cape Elizabeth, ME), senior Connor Rose (Irvine, CA) and junior Curtis Yancy (St. Louis, MO).
