Kumar Plays for Jumbos at College Squash Association Men's Individual Championships

WASHINGTON, DC - Tufts sophomore Raghav Kumar played at the College Squash Association Men's Individual Championships today at George Washington University.

Kumar was seeded 15th in the Molloy Cup: B Division East bracket. In his round of 16 match to begin play early Friday afternoon, he lost to 16th seed Hayes Murphy from Penn 11-8, 11-8, 11-8.

Moving into the consolation bracket, Kumar played another match early Friday evening. Against Middlebury's Jacob Kagan in the eight-man consolation quarterfinals, Kumar won his second game 11-7 to even the match at 1-1. The two players then battled into extra points in the third game before Kagan came away with a 14-12 victory for a 2-1 lead. The Panther player wrapped up the match with a quick 11-0 final in the fourth game.

This is the final event of the year on the Jumbos men's squash schedule.
