This was only the second event that Mukherjee has suited up for during his rookie year, as he was the Jumbos' fifth-place finisher at the Detrick Invitational on Sept. 10-11, in Newington, Connecticut.
Bentley finished first overall with a 15-over-par team score of 303, and senior John Perkins of Bentley earned individual-champion honors with an even-par 72, competing as an individual.
Senior captain Owen Elliott was the Jumbos' second-place finisher, finishing in a tie for 13th overall with a 77. He has now fired 70s in nine consecutive rounds, dating back to the Williams Fall Invitational on Sept. 24-25, in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Freshman Brandon Karr was solid for the squad, shooting a 78, while finishing in a tie for 15th overall in the field. The West Bloomfield, Michigan, native has been one of the team's top-three finishers during three tournaments this season.
Junior Aaron Corn placed in a tie for 22nd, while being the Jumbos' fourth-place performer with an 81. Rounding out the scoring for the Jumbos was sophomore Brian Creonte, as he carded an 88 on the course.
The Jumbos will be back in action at the Johnson & Wales Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in Cranston, Rhode Island.
